Wily, meanwhile, tired of being one step behind Dr. Light formed a laboratory with the ambition to use computer and electronic technology to benefit mankind in the coming era. These men would attend the same university, the Robot Institute of Technology, studying the field of electronics and eventually receiving PhDs.
The story of the Mega Man universe begins in the mid-20th century with the birth of Thomas Light and Albert W.
